Santiago de Cuba, Cuba - January 30-31, 2019

Santiago de Cuba celebrated 500 years of exisitence in 2015. That was three years after hurricane Sandy devistated the area. The government spent three years cleaning up and spending a large sum of money. Something like 85% of the buildings were severely damaged. But now it's once again a beautiful city. It's one of the larger cities closest to Hati, the Domincan Republic, and Jamaica. It's culturally much different than the other cities we visited but none-the-less beautiful.
