Fellow photographer and travel guide, Joe Wagenhals, and I ventured to the historical area of Virginia around the city of Charlottesville.

It was a nice trip and the weather cooperated. It's clearly a place to go and explore both for its beauty and history.

Scenes are from The University of Virginia, Carlottesville, Montecello (Jefferson), Ash Lawn Highland (Monroe), Montpelier (Madison) as well as the Boars Head Inn, and Natural Bridge, VA. A few images were made while passing through West Virginia.
