Linda and her friends, Joyce and MaryAnn have been talking about going to the ocean for a long time. So Joyce made reservations and a condo in Carolina Beach, NC for the last week of April. Joyce, Linda and I set out by car a day early and stayed overnight in Princeton, Va. We arrived at Carolina Beach just a few minutes before MaryAnn who had ventured ahead to visit with her family ahead of time.
We had near perfect weather for the entire week. While we never entered the water it was quite enticing. We visited local eateries and ventured on the ferry over to Southport, a quaint little village for lunch and shopping.
